In Jesus’ last public sermon He calls those false spiritual leaders like the scribes and the Pharisees what they are and warns the people to stay away from them, because He knows that they must avoid the error if they’re to follow the truth and not lies. Maybe today you are following one of these false teachers that Jesus is warning about. Our prayer is that God’s Word and this message might help you better understand how to identify these false religious leaders in our World today. There’s an interesting statement in Luke 11:52. “Where it says Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering” False religious leaders lead people away from truth and from being saved. That’s what Jesus said about false teachers.
