How did it all begin is always the question? The Bible tells us in Genesis 1:1 that God Created the Heavens and Earth in a miraculous six day event. On Day 1: The heavens, the earth, light and darkness. Day 2: Heaven, Day 3: Dry land, the seas and vegetation, Day 4: The sun, the moon and the stars, Day 5: Living creatures in the water, birds in the air, Day 6: Land animals and people, Day 7: God "rested". Pastor Dan puts Genesis on Trial in this series and talks about this six day creation event and breaks it down in detail on each day. Dan answers a lot of questions in detail about what is a day, the gap theory, the age of the earth, the global flood and where all the water came from, what are dinosaurs and when were they created, signs and gifts from God and why we are without excuse to trust what God has created.

While macro evolution is a robust scientific theory it cannot be proven. Therefore, we must appeal to scriptural authority as proof since the evidence of creation is clear from the Word of God - Genesis 1:1, John 1:3, 1 Chronicles 29:11, Colossians 1:15-16, Job 26:7-9, 11-14, Nehemiah 9:6, Deuteronomy 10:14, Psalm 104:24-25, 95:3-5, Romans 1:20, Isaiah 24:4-6 & Hosea 4:1-3. This authority of God is clearly where our presuppositions start. We must always realize that the conclusions that are presented as facts about scientific theory are just interpretations of facts based on a set of assumptions.
