At 8,700 feet on the beautiful Kolob plateau Southland Bible along with several other local Bible Churches provide a Christian Bible Camp Ministry each year to help introduce campers to Jesus, and challenge them to become dedicated believers in Christ. To accomplish this, CMR provides Facilities and Quality programs of Biblical instruction, Recreation, Chapel, Worship and Fellowship. Come and experience the Lord’s work for yourself. Many kids have great memories of camp that form into lasting Christ centered relationships. Our staff for each camp consists of pastors, youth counselors and dedicated members from surrounding Bible Churches. Our caring staff presents sound Biblical teaching in varied settings to help each camper understand the Word of God and how to grow and live by it. CMR maintains a high standard of discipline for both staff and campers, to ensure every camper has a safe and enjoyable stay.
Cedar Mountain Retreat – Camp Videos
CMR was founded in 1988 through a united step of faith by Fellowship Bible Church in Lindon, Valley bible Church in Cedar City, Southland Bible Church in St. George, and Richfield Bible Church.
CMR is located at 8,700 feet elevation on the beautiful Kolob plateau, Its situated on 20 aspen covered acres, twenty-two miles southeast of Cedar city.
Camp facilities include 8 cabins, dining hall, shower house and restroom facility plus our ‘Snack Shack’. Sports and recreational opportunities available include our double volleyball court, 9-hole Frisbee golf course, basketball, zip line, archery range, shooting range (BB guns), plus hiking and special activities.
A dedication to the practical teaching of the Word of God remains the hallmark of the CMR ministry. Whether on hikes in chapel, or around the campfire, we want every camper to deepen their walk with the Lord, and better understand His love for them.
